Dream Pillow Mist
Dream pillow mist is a pure essential oil & precious crystal infused body mist that you can use to induce feelings of calm and relaxation to help encourage peaceful sleep.
It contains a special blend of essential oils (Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Marjoram and Lemon) that are reputed to help encourage sleep. The Lavender floral water was chosen as a base for it's relaxing and sedative properties. Moonstone crystals are included in each bottle for their soothing and calming energy, and their ability to help promote sleep and sweet dreams. |
To use, give a little shake, then you can simply spray it generously over your pillow and bed, as well as your whole body.
To enhance the relaxing effect of the pillow mist, I suggest using it in conjunction with either one, or both of the acupressure points described below.

Acupressure
Acupressure is a system of medicine that is based on the same energetic principles as acupuncture, however, instead of needles, you use pressure on the points with your hands or another instrument. You need to use gentle but firm pressure on each point for a full two-three minutes to get the desired effect.
My two favourite points for enhancing sleep are "Anmian" and HT-7. Both points are wonderful, so you can use them both in sequence, or just choose whichever one feels most comfortable.

Anmian
Anmian (Sleep Peacefully) is an 'extra' point located on either side of the neck, just behind the lobe of each ear, behind and slightly above the bony-feeling protuberance of the mastoid process. Stimulate the point gently with either your middle or pointer finger for 2-3 minutes by massaging in small circles.
Anmian, unlike many acupuncture points that have multiple functions, is primarily used for just one purpose - to help promote restful sleep. It is empirically known as a master point for treating sleeping disorders because it anchors the 'shen" (the mind). It is used for both interrupted and restless sleep, as well as for excessive dreaming and nightmares. This point can be easily stimulated while lying on your back in bed. |
HT-7
HT-7, Shenmen (Spirit Gate) is located at the ulnar end of the wrist crease when the palm faces upward, on the radial side of flexor carpi ulnaris tendon.
This point is wonderful for calming the mind and helping to resolve symptoms related to emotional imbalance such as anxiety, worry and insomnia. It is a very powerful point that is used for a wide range of emotional conditions, as well as for physical issues relating to the heart. Press gently on this point for 2-3 minutes on either side, whilst taking nice slow, deep breaths. |
If you would like to try a beautiful meditation technique to combine with this pillow mist and these acupressure points, why don't you try a wonderful technique named "The Quickie". I have written a blog about it here for more information - it is easy to learn so that you can use it easily when you are lying in bed preparing for sleep.
