Peace Body Mist
Peace body mist is a pure essential oil & precious crystal infused body mist that you can use anywhere, anytime to take a few moments and reconnect with your inner peace.
It contains a special blend of essential oils (Lavender, Orange, Bergamot, Patchouli & Ylang Ylang) designed to reduce your perception of stress, and increase feelings of wellbeing. The Bulgarian Rose floral water was chosen as a base for it's soothing and calming properties. Finally, I added Amethyst crystals to every bottle for their ability to promote deep spiritual calmness, emotional balance and peace. |
To use, give a little shake, then you can simply mist over your face and body and take a few deep breaths to promote a feeling of peace - either in the middle of a busy day, at the beginning of a meditation, yoga or relaxation session, or as you begin to get ready for bed.
To enhance the relaxing effect of the body mist, I suggest using it in conjunction with either one, or both of the acupressure points described below.

Acupressure
Acupressure is a system of medicine that is based on the same energetic principles as acupuncture, however, instead of needles, you use pressure on the points with your hands or another instrument. You need to use gentle but firm pressure on each point for a full two-three minutes to get the desired effect.
My two favourite points to help relieve stress and anxiety are "Yin Tang", and CV-17. Both points are wonderful, so you can try them both, and choose whichever one feels most comfortable. You can even use them both together at the same time.

Yin Tang
Yin Tang is located in between your eyebrows, at the third eye point, and is a powerful anti-anxiety, calming and grounding point. There have been some recent clinical studies (see an example here) into the use of this single point in preoperative patients, showing that this point significantly lowered their anxiety levels. Use gentle pressure on this point for two to three minutes - no need to be causing any discomfort. It should feel quite pleasant. |
CV-17
CV-17 is located in the centre of the chest, four finger-widths above the tip of your sternum. You should be able to feel a little depression at the point, and it may be a little bit tender, so be gentle. Use pressure here for two to three minutes.
This point is said to open up the chest and calm the heart. It is a great point for emotional balance and wellbeing. CV 17 also corresponds to the area of the heart chakra, which represents our ability to open up our heart and love deeply. |
If you would like to take this to another level for even deeper relaxation, I suggest combining using the body mist with the acupressure points above, plus a breathing meditation technique named "The Quickie". I have written a blog about it here for more information.
I hope you enjoy using your gift, as much as I enjoyed making it for you!!
