My commitment to the community
I believe it is very important, as a small business owner, to conduct my business in a socially responsible, ethical and sustainable way, giving back wherever I can. Just as Chinese Medicine theory states everything in the universe is connected, so it is that any sense of separation between us is ultimately false. We are all on this planet together and I it is my purpose and passion to be a force of good in this world, in whatever way I can. I also have an extensive environmental policy that you can read about here.
So how am I giving back to the community?

Turn the Tables Partnership
with the Mama Lana Community Foundation

I am proud to support the Mama Lana Community Foundation (MLCF) by being a "Turn the Tables Partner".
The MLCF provides a wonderful range of much needed services to the homeless and underprivileged people of the greater Penrith region. These services include hot meals six nights a week, food, clothes, blankets and toiletries, hot showers, outreach support and a safe place to 'drop in' and access services and support during the day.
The Turn the Tables Project provides ongoing funding to the MLCF so that they can continue to operate out of permanent premises in the heart of Penrith. You can read more about TTT, the MLCF and my personal reasons for supporting this charity here.

Cancer Wellness Support Partnership

I am happy to share that I have joined up with the amazing organisation, Cancer Wellness Support (CWS), to provide heavily discounted and subsidised treatments to people with cancer, on all stages of their journey.
CWS has created a network of amazing natural therapists in the mountains to provide very affordable treatments to those in need. They also run a range of different groups and programs. If you or a family member has cancer, I encourage you to join CWS to access their full
range of services. You can read more about Cancer Wellness Support and my role in providing affordable treatments here.

Breastfeeding Welcome Here

I have made my beautiful clinic an official Breastfeeding Friendly Venue, in association with the Australian Breastfeeding association. The Breastfeeding Friendly Program is designed to help improve community acceptability of breastfeeding and provide mothers with safe and respectful spaces to feed their children.
As a firm advocate of breastfeeding I am very happy to provide a welcoming, smoke-free and comfortable environment for women to breastfeed. You can look for other participating venues on the ABA website.

LGBTIQ Welcome Here

My beautiful clinic, the Quan Yin Healing Centre, is now proudly a member of ACON's "Welcome Here" project.
I publicly declare that my clinic is a safe, welcoming space for people of all walks of life, and I celebrate the diversity of our community. You can read more about the "Welcome Here" project here.
