I know what a difficult time it is for everyone right now with the Coronavirus pandemic. I have to have trust that everything will be OK, and that there will be so many good things to come from this. I also really acknowledge that many of us are experiencing very real fear, pain, and loss right now. I am feeling all of those things too, and I stand with you in solidarity.
With the outbreak of the novel coronavirus sweeping accross the world, I have drafted a new policy for use at my clinic, the Quan Yin Healing Centre.
I am committed to providing a safe environment for all of our practitioners and patients, as we remain open to provide holistic support to you in these troubling times. I am sharing the policy below so that you can see exactly what we are putting in place, and will share more information soon. Lets talk about the colour of your food. And no, I'm not talking about those crazy artificial colours and dyes that are so prevelant these days - you are staying well away from those kinds of foods - aren't you?! I'm talking about the beautiful natural, vibrant colours of fresh whole foods. Did you know that in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory, the colour of a food can be an indication of it's therapeutic value? Read on to learn more about how the energetics of food can be understood from this perspective, and why it's important to have a rainbow of colours on your plate.
