Statistically, the vast majority of patients seeking assistance for fertility are women. Most of these women have male partners, however men are less likely to to undertake treatment or lifestyle change for preparing to have a baby, or believe that there is much they can do to improve their sperm count and quality.
However, it takes two to make a baby – an egg, and a sperm, and there are many things we can do – including acupuncture, herbs and supplements – to optimise the health of both of these very important ingredients (also called 'gametes'). Investing some time and effort into improving the health of your sperm before you try to conceive will have untold benefits for the health of your future children and should be an essential part of your fertility plan as a couple.

Even though I am passionate about natural and complementary approaches to pediatrics, I am also incredibly inspired and awed by the amazing advances and achievements of western pediatrics and the people that dedicate their lives to working with kids. I recently read two western pediatric memoirs – “Healing Children” by Kurt Newman, and “Learning to Listen” by Barry Brazelton - that I enjoyed so much I thought I would review them both. If these reviews pieque your interest, you might like to read them too.
It is with a very happy heart that I can announce that the clinic is officially ready and open for business! Its been a busy month renovating the space, but I am so pleased with how it has turned out. All the feedback I have received has been so positive, with people saying that the clinic feels very peaceful, welcoming and nurturing - just as I intended. Below are a few photos to give you an idea of what it looks like on the inside...but for a better look, come and visit in person! I hope to see you soon.
