Important News - Affordable Acupuncture is closing!

It is with a heavy heart that I write today. In less than a month, Affordable Acupuncture, my beloved clinic that has served the Inner West for five glorious years, is shutting its doors. But where one door closes, another opens. I would like to introduce you to Kristi-Anna, so please read on...

Many of you know that I am soon due to give birth to my second child and needing to step back from managing the clinic. I have tried over the past six months to find someone willing to take it on, but have been unsuccessful. Affordable Acupuncture was born out of my passion to serve the community and has been my gift to you all, but unfortunately it is not a viable or sustainable business. Emma and Kata are leaving to pursue their own projects, and when I return from maternity leave I am going to start a new solo clinic near my home in the Blue Mountains. Thus - although it is really very hard for me to say this - we really have come to our sad goodbyes!

Affordable Acupuncture will close permanently after my last clinic day on Wednesday 19th of August.

But please don't worry - I have been working hard to find the best possible solution for your continued care:

Introducing Kristi-Anna
and Vitality Therapies

Kristi-Anna Brydon will be opening up the second branch of her successful "Vitality Therapies" business here in our space. Kristi-Anna has been running Vitality Therapies on the Central Coast for over 15 years and brings a tremendous wealth of experience, compassion and dedication to her practice. She completed her Bachelors degree in TCM alongside myself, Kata and Emma at UTS back in 2009 - we were all classmates together and our shared passion for TCM has kept us close all these years.

Kristi-Anna is an exceptionally kind, caring and skilled practitioner. I hold her in the utmost regard and am certain that you will love her. She has made the commitment to look after all of Affordable Acupuncture's patients with exemplary care and will have access to your clinic records so that she can continue the therapeutic journey that we have begun together.

Kristi-Anna's first day will be Tuesday, 25th of August.

Her starting availability will be:
Tuesdays 9:15am - 9pm
Fridays 9:15am - 4:30pm

Farewell/Welcome Party

In order to commemorate this momentous transition, will be holding a morning tea party here in the clinic on Saturday 22nd of August from 10am - 1pm. This will be a chance for me and Kata to say THANKYOU and goodbye to you (sadly Emma is not able to attend), and an opportunity for you to meet and welcome Kristi-Anna. Please pop it in your diary - we will have healthy food and drinks and really hope you can make it!

There is still so much to say, but I will write again closer to the final days of the clinic, with my final words of thanks to you. I am so, so very grateful for the blessings and lessons of the past five years, and you, dear ones have been at the heart of it all.
