My Patient Happiness Survey Results, 2019

3/12/2019

I am always striving to refine and improve my services, so that I can be the best practitioner that I can be. To this end I conduct yearly anonymous surveys, so that I can give my patients the chance to give me honest feedback that I can use to learn and grow.

I am always so grateful for everyone who takes the time to complete the survey and tell me what they think. This year I thought it might be nice to publish the results so that you can see them too.

You can see a quick summary here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/stories/SM-ZWCFP2F7/, or keep reading for a bit more detail and commentary, including how my results compare to other professionals in the health industry worldwide.

Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied are you with my acupuncture treatments?

I was very pleased to see that 83% of people selected "Very Satisfied" as their answer to this question, and a total of 96% were either "very satisfied" or "Somewhat satisfied"!

You can see that this compares very favourably to the Survey Monkey Global Benchmark, where only 63% of people selected "Very satisfied", below.

How would you rate the quality of my treatments?

I'm very proud of my results to this question. 100% of people rated my treatments as either "Very High Quality" or "High Quality", with 86% of people rating my treatments as "Very High Quality"!

You can see an even better comparison here, compared to the Global Benchmark set by Survey Monkey below. In comparison, only 38% of people rated their other practitioners as providing "Very High Quality" treatments.

How likely are you to use my services again in the future?

I was very happy to see that 90% of patients said they were either "extremely likely" (59%) or "very likely" (31%) to use my services again.

There was no global benchmark to compare this to, but I think this is a very positive result.

How likely is it that you would recommend my services to a friend or colleague?

This is a very important question. I truly want to be the kind of practitioner that inspires confidence and gets great results, so that my patients just naturally recommend me to their loved ones.

This question asked patients to rate the likelihood of recommending me on a scale from 1-10 (with 1 being the least likely, and 10 being extremely likely). I am very proud to know that 79% of my patients chose either a 9 or a 10 for their answer here. I'm not quite sure of how the maths all works out, but Survey Monkey has given me a total Net Promoter Score of 79. This compares very favourably to the Global Benchmark, which is only 41.

Would you like to elaborate on any of your answers? I welcome all of your comments, questions and suggestions.

My last question was an open-ended one, which I found most people left blank, or on a topic that is not appropriate to share. However, there were a few really special ones that I'd like to share with you:

You can see that I haven't discussed every question here, as some of them were about more administrative matters (e.g. ongoing memberships, additional offerings). If you are interested, you can see all questions and answers here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/stories/SM-ZWCFP2F7/.

You might also notice that the number of respondents might seem small - there were 29 people who completed the survey, which represents about 15% of my patients. This is actually a great result, considering I didn't offer an incentive for people to complete the survey (e.g. a discount or competition) - usually surveys without incentives have a response rate of less than 10%.

I feel very proud of these results. Whilst there wasn't any feedback that was critical for me to learn from, it still gives me the encouragement and drive to keep up my quality of care, so that I can continue to serve my patients to the absolute best of my ability.

If you haven't been for an appointment yet, and would like to experience what I have to offer, remember that I have easy online booking on the website here.

Please leave any comments and questions below, or contact me here - I always love hearing from you.
